Packaging Technician
The Packaging Tech. is accountable for the filling and packaging of products produced by OsteoMed, and our Contract Associates'/suppliers
General Duties/Responsibilities
Packaging of screws, plates and other OsteoMed products as required.
Packaging of Sterile products inside Cleanroom.
Labeling and Cartoning of OsteoMed products.
Identifying In-process non-conformities.
Printing of labels used in production runs.
Maintain impeccable cGDP data.
Experience/Skills Required:
1-2 years minimum experience in manufacturing.
Ability to read and understand packaging instructions on routers.
Familiar with label guide for printing of labels.
Well versed in cGMP.
Familiar with database maintenance and data collection.
Ability to multitask several processes at once.
Attention to detail a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Medical device experience a plus.
Required Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 35lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
Will be required to sit at a desk and stand on a tile floor for extended periods.
Requires working while wearing personal protection equipment such as gloves, goggles and gowns.
