Responsibilities for the position may include the following:

• Select electronic parts for new assemblies


• Schematic capture using CAD tools.


• Create Cable drawings


• Create requirements documents for electronic assemblies


• Perform Circuit Design


• Perform Analysis and simulation of electronic circuits and assemblies


• Create test plan documents and test reports


• Design verification using automated methods


• Perform EMI tests, Qualification Tests, Acceptance Testing


• Perform laboratory testing on assemblies


• Create project plans, schedules, cost estimates


• System integration, test, and troubleshooting


• Design of assemblies for test of PCBs and LRUs and systems


• Support of production lines, problem solving, ECOs


• Multi-tasking on 2-3 projects, completion of assigned tasks on time


• Support other engineering disciplines and other functional areas within the company to ensure program success


• Some travel may be required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent scientific discipline and 2-4 years related experience to be proficient in the above areas or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbents must possess a knowledge of engineering fundamentals, principles and methods that will enable their practical application in the solution of technical problems.

Requirements

• BSEE and 0 to 5 years experience will be considered


• Digital and analog circuit skills


• Embedded microprocessor understanding


• Use of Electronic CAD design and verification tools


• Experience with electronics test, simple circuit design, and analysis.


• Good general EE skills

Desirable

• Digital and analog circuit design experience


• FPGA experience, Verilog code experience


• Matlab analysis experience


• Signal Integrity control concepts.


• Avionics or Defense industry experience or interest.


• General EE knowledge or skills such as Power supply, EMI, software


• Design and fabrication of small test assemblies
