Our company continues to grow so were looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering Team as a Manufacturing Engineer at our Andrews, SC office.

This position drives projects related to product and process improvements. Reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager in a team environment where each team member is focused on contributing and learning.

Responsibilities:

Works with internal suppliers and customers to understand design, assembly and manufacturing processes and acts as a technical expert to ensure repeatable and reproducible quality/reliability during the life of the product(s).Provides direction on a variety of routine technical tasks including design reviews, FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis) creation and engineering change requests.Applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to recommend design and manufacturing improvements.Analyzes defect, yield, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and other manufacturability issues, then design and run experiments to improve design process and systems.Initiates new projects and acts as the Project Leader for key improvement initiatives and to identify best practices.Develops an understanding of the current manufacturing processes and identifies targets for improvement in operation efficiencies.Provides engineering support on manufacturing technical issues.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics required.Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Product EngineeringKnowledge and experience with 2D&3D design softwareOn-the-job experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks a plus.Design for Manufacturing experience preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8 hours per day
