Details:

A Research Engineer to help program and develop guidance sensors for Autonomous vehicles in St. Louis, MO. Sensors are developed, programmed and deployed into many platforms utilized in the collection of agricultural field data. Platforms such as unmanned aerial vehicles ( UAV's ) and large farm equipment UGV"s. In this job, you will be responsible for developing and programming data collection sensors, testing and deployment of sensor on varied platforms. You will work closely with imaging scientist, mechanical engineers and statisticians developing unique automated research tools.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in an engineering discipline, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical
engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
* Experience programming guidance and data collection sensors such as: imagery, sonar, LIDAR,
radar.
* Familiar with image / imagery processing nice to have.
