The WPS finance team is located in Madison, WI. This position is open to candidates in Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. Non-Madison candidates will be primarily remote however occasional travel to the Madison offices will be required.
The Financial Planning and Analysis team partners with leaders across the business to set WPS' targets and understand financial results. Our work directly supports the business in finding growth opportunities and driving efficiency, whether it's planning for next year's budget, working with our leadership team on bid proposals, or developing cost-saving strategies.
Our team is seeking a highly capable Financial Analyst who is looking to develop their finance skills within a world class insurance organization. The role will be challenging yet fun and you will gain skills and experience that can be leveraged over the rest of your career.
In this role you will:
Work with the FP&A team to develop various analyses for a WPS business line including:
Budgeting/Forecasting
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Financial Modeling
Bid Proposals
Provide input into improving the analytical capabilities of the team and making processes more efficient.
Partner with leaders of increasing seniority, including Executive leaders, as well as provide training and guidance to junior members of the team.
Ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision making.

Minimum Qualifications
Financial Analyst
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
