The Respiratory Therapy Manager would be joining a hospital that houses close to 500 licensed beds and a teaching institution that services borough residents as a leader in acute, medical and surgical care.  Respiratory Therapy Manager Responsible for the daily operations of respiratory services including managing the schedule and staff assignments. The Respiratory Therapy Manager is required to have a RRT license in the State of New York. The Respiratory Therapy Manager will supervise and coordinate activities in the Respiratory Care Department under the guidance of the Pulmonary Department. In addition carries out the diagnostic and therapeutic responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist.This is a great opportunity as a stepping stone into higher operational leadership roles, by adapting to administrative responsibilities while letting go of the stressful aspects of bedside nursing. .
