Kforce has a client in Northfield, IL that is seeking a Web/AWS IT Tech Lead.
Summary:
The Web/AWS IT Tech Lead is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle by ensuring high quality, performant applications and solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. Web/AWS IT Tech Leads are full-stack development experts, working in all layers of an application including integration technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree in a related field a plus
7-10 years of experience in systems analysis and programming essential, including 2-3 years in technical leadership
Experience coding/leading in multiple technology tracks
Experience in a health care environment is a plus
Proven experience building and supporting complex interfaces/integrations between non-homogenous applications and other internal and/or external applications
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Must be detail and deadline oriented as well as a strategic mindset, looking at the big picture versus a single assignment
Proficient in analyzing and understanding business requirements
Desire for self-improvement and continuous education
Experience with the following:
Web technologies: J2EE/Web technologies, Java, Spring Boot, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, Microservices/APIs, Jitterbit
Cloud technologies: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Formations, Content Delivery Networks, General cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
UI development: Angular 6 or higher, CSS3 responsive web design a plus, HTML5, JavaScript
Testing Tools: Junit test cases for services (Mockito), Unit test cases for Angular (Jasmine, Karma)
Project Tracking/Management: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Projects, Visio
Methodologies: Agile, Waterfall
