Infosys is seeking an Oracle SCM Principal Consultant, who as an expert contributes to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. You will play role as solution architect and work directly with business and client leads.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 10 years of experience with IT.


• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time


• Candidate can be located within commuting distance of or be willing to relocate to New York, NY. This position may require extensive travel.


• Experience working with Business and other business enabling team.


• Excellent understanding on MFG (BOM, WIP, Return and repair) process flow and business understanding


• Stakeholder management


• In depth solution design knowledge and understanding of business needs


• Experience working with IT (Functional & Technical) team for solution development & deployment


• Acquainted with best practices and able to identify the business improvement areas

Preferred

• Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes


• Experience in Oracle Distribution Skills: Order Management, Inventory, Bill of Materials and WIP.


• Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment


• Good Analytical and Communication skills


• Experience in stakeholder management

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
