Job Summary

The Manager Org Development & Change will lead and support a broad array of programs and interventions across P32H. In partnership with Organizational Effectiveness colleagues and other key stakeholders, the leader will oversee a team in developing and executing on change management and organizational development interventions that develop people and teams and move the organization forward. Under the general direction of the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, the leader will consult on change management and other organizational development issues to address integration, people, and process challenges.

Job Description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - what you will be doing:


  • Lead, create, and implement change initiatives and organization and leadership development interventions related to people, process and technology changes.

  • Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization using best practice Change methodologies.

  • Apply structured change management strategies and methodologies to ensure successful and sustainable organizational behavior change.

  • Consult with internal clients by exploring presenting problems and collaboratively deciding on a course of action based on solid empirical data and best practices in the OD field.

  • Oversee the design and execution of OD interventions, including team development, change management, leadership development, strategic planning, conflict resolution and other organizational issues.

  • Manage the consulting process through contracting, diagnosing, data collection and analysis, relationship building, action planning, execution, facilitation, and evaluation.

  • Utilize a systems thinking approach to problem solving to enable understanding on how strategies, structures, systems and people interactions impact the entire system and affect business outcomes.

  • Hire, develop and support team members in implementing organizational development and change strategies that improve the overall functioning of the department and the organization.

  • Establish and maintain strategic business partnerships

  • Manage a team of Organizational Development specialist and consultants.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS - what you need to perform the job

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:


  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field

  • Certified Coach strongly preferred or minimum 3 years' leadership coaching experience

  • Certified in MBTI, DiSC, TKI, Leadership Circle strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE (minimum years required):


  • 7-10 years of experience leading change and OD functions and people

  • 3 years leading strategic change management initiatives required

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and mentor colleagues in the OE department

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills, presentation skills and business writing skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal business partners.

  • Demonstrated excellence in consulting and in leading organization wide change interventions.

  • Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating organizational dynamics

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Teams and Powerpoint required

  • Ability to Facilitate multiple OD interventions simultaneously

  • Resilient, collaborative, flexible, innovative.

  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into appropriate OD interventions

  • Team effectiveness expert

  • Retreat design and facilitation

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel):


  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

  • Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

  • May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
