Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of 'Services Innovation and Strategy, Senior Manager' for Services in our EcoStruxure Building management system. The role is based in our Andover, MA, United States location.

The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help our customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption, and run building operations efficiently.

In this entrepreneurial position, you will lead the building team's offer plans strategy and roadmap for the development of digital building services with a focus on Service offers. You will strong orientation for innovating, agile, and autonomous marketing leader who can work across all levels of the organization and influence key decision-makers who is best positioned for the role. The ideal right contender will be with a background in Strategy, Product Development, and Offer Management. Additionally, knowledge of Building Management Systems and a good sense of customer-centricity will be a plus.

You will work across development teams, product management in the line of business and commercial teams. The position requires strong communication, influencing and analytic skills, technical and business acumen, relationship development skills, and a motivational style. Collaboration and partnering within Schneider's global organization is critical for the success

Primary Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Research:


  • Establish the compelling vision and roadmap for new service offerings
  • Define new service offerings, unique value propositions, and features based on market needs
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive space, consider impacts on strategic positioning and disruption opportunities
  • Define key personas and craft requirements based on use cases that are clear, comprehensive, and prioritized
  • Be the voice of the customer and deeply understand user needs, workflows, and how to target customers would benefit from the new service offering

Transformation:

Lead and manage specific high visible, high impact services projects impacting go-to-market for service offers

Marketing and Sales enablement


  • Collaborate with product and marketing managers to align new service offering with the value proposition, pricing, and positioning
  • Define and adapt the right Go to Market, Adapt offer to new Channels
  • Decide and manage the VOCs, market surveys needed to understand the market's trends
  • Meet with customers to understand the customers' values and needs
  • Demonstrate the feasibility for Schneider to bring and sell a Unique Value Proposition
  • Define the Marketing specification of the new offer

The right candidate will be:

  • Demonstrated skills in market research, competitive analysis, market positioning, and segmentation
  • Subject matter expert: proven track record of developing, managing, and launching offers
  • Customer and data-oriented: expert at making cases with data,
  • Ability to create business presentations targeting to C-level audience
  • Multi-culture and global working experience is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial and evangelistic: promote and drive awareness of the offers within Schneider and to external customers and the industry

Education qualifications and other desired experience:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, marketing, or related field.
  • MBA is a plus
  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) and Smart Building industry a plus
  • 5 years of experience successfully leading business strategy and/or developing service products and offers
  • Applied experience with product management skills - pricing, market and competitive analysis, strategic planning
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong leadership, project planning and execution skills
