Job Title:  Airfreight Operations Traffic Supervisor
Job Location: JFK Airport, Jamaica NY

We have an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight Operations Traffic Supervisor to own and manage one of our biggest accounts’ daily operations.  This position will be based at our JFK Airport, NY location 

Key Responsibilities:

·          Assist with checking accuracy of trucker invoices in financial system

·          Ensure DGF accrual are entered correctly in systems.

·          Authorize release of payments

·         Resolve the issue with shipments on the discrepancy list

·         Work with truckers to resolve disputes.

·         Assist with monitoring agents on daily flow and procedures of the Traffic Dept.

·         Assist with vetting new truckers and negotiating rates.

·         Assist with documentation for implementing new truckers into the system.

·         Check XDS periodically to ensure mandatory forms are up to date. Contact truckers for new forms/certificates if any are expired.

·         Assist with performing Vendor Assessments.

Skills / Requirements:

·         Customer service orientation  

·         Organization and efficiency

·         Detailed oriented.

·         Multitasking & ability to work under pressure

·         Creativity and critical thinking.

·         Able to work independently and accustomed to constant change.

·         Fluency in Hebrew language preferred.

·         Computer knowledge- Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
