Plant Manager - Purina Animal Nutrition

We are immediately hiring a Plant Manager for our Camp Hill, PA animal feed manufacturing facility.

Position Purpose:

The Plant Manager for ouranimal feedmanufacturing facilityprovides overall direction for the facility in the areas of safety, quality,serviceand overall plant efficiencies. Responsible for driving results: improved performance, customer relationships, plant asset utilization and positive employee relationsforyour 85+ team members.

Other responsibilitiesinclude: developing and executing the site budget within corporate guidelines. Providing strategic direction. Managing all plant resources to optimize profitability to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations. Creating a positive work environment that supports continuous improvement, reinforces company philosophy and policies and diverse and inclusive workforce. Develop the skills and capabilities of both salaried and hourly team members.

Experience-Education (Required):

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration,Engineeringor a related degree required.

3+ years manufacturingPlant Management experience withahistory of delivering strong operating and team-building results.

  • Strong positive employee relation skills

  • Project management capabilities

  • Ability to diagnose operational inefficiencies


  • Analyze operational budgets

  • Facilitate teams

  • Drive overall plant operational improvements

Experience-Education (Preferred):

Bachelorsdegree and 5+ years of Plant Management experience.

Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

  • Advanced Safety training

  • HACCP training/certifications

  • Continuous improvement skills
