2) Process and Controls Engineering in the application of electrical and controls concepts
3) IFIX SCADA, software, OSI PI, Rockwell CLX controls, Servo/VFD applications and/or electrical power solutions.

Summary: Encompasses technological and operating principles contained in all aspects of electrical communications, especially computer algorithms, architecture, operating systems, and software, for the usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers and electronic devices used to control machines and manufacturing processes. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Requirements: Applies extensive technical engineering expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Develops and resolves solutions to complex technical problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed without day to day direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of an assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long term perspective for desire results. Represent the organization as the primary technical lead on a project. Interacts regularly with senior personnel and leads matters that require significant coordination between organizations.

Scope of Position:
* To provide electrical & controls support for the TOD (Top of Draw) melting and forming production processes.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
* The position involves working with Process and Controls Engineering in the application of electrical and controls concepts to identify, design and implement continuous improvement / cost reduction projects. Daily production support involving troubleshooting, problem solving and working with the equipment maintenance organization will be required.
* Role within group: Rebuild Support, Production Support, Project Support, and TOD Electrical & Controls Support

Projects:
* Rebuild, continuous improvement and cost reduction projects as well as first generation projects for the Harrodsburg Plant. Projects will involve IFIX SCADA, software, OSI PI, Rockwell CLX controls, Servo/VFD applications and/or electrical power solutions.

Required Skills:
* PLC/DCS/SCADA Programming Interest / knowledge
* Low Voltage Power systems (600V and below) Interest / knowledge
* Ability to troubleshoot difficult process problems and determine root cause through process experimentation and data analysis.
* This is a functional position that requires strong technical curiosity, leadership skills (specs, scopes, budget, timeline, etc.), and the ability/desire to learn as well as train others.
* Ability to plan upfront, communicate issues, and execute solutions quickly and efficiently.
* Works well with other disciplines (process, mechanical engineering) and providing/receiving direction.
* Strong Written and Verbal Skills.
Desired Skills:
* IFIX/RTP/OSI PI and VBA and/or Structured Text Programming knowledge/experience
* Rockwell CLX, Servo, and VFD systems
* Working knowledge of Matlab / Simulink
* Controls/Electrical Experience in Manufacturing
* Broad skill set (first principal design to implementation/installation)
* Working knowledge of 480V and below 3 phase power systems including National Codes (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.)
* AutoCAD
