Job Summary
Manages all activities related to the branch operations and the processing of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains the operations business plans to include all programs requirements, labor hours, cycle, and processing costs.
• Establishes processing and quality control standards, with assistance of the Director of Quality, develops budget and cost controls, obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Provides guidance to the development of a process plan, including personnel requirements, materials needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and equipment needs.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates the operations activities with all functions of the organization to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Establish and implement, in conjunction with the Director of Safety, a program to minimize the frequency and severity of industrial accidents and injuries.
• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from 4 year college or university
• 5 - 10 years progressive leadership experienced
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities
• Lean / Six Sigma experience
• Experience in the metals processing / distribution industry
