Software Engineer

This position is targeted for a Software Engineerwhowill join an R&D team inside Keysight's Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) organization, which is responsible for producing world-leading solutions for the challenging and exciting market of quantum technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communications and quantum sensing.

As a software engineer, you will work with physicists and engineers around the globe, driving innovation across Keysight's quantum solutions. You will develop software to automate the bring-up and fine tuning of quantum computing systems and design an expressive interface to define and execute quantum programs efficiently.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• BS or MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field


• 5+ years of software development


• Proficiency in Python


• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to develop teamwork among individuals and over geographically disperse teams

Additionaldesiredexpertise:

• Object-oriented design and development


• Design and management of relational databases


• API development


• Familiarity with Atlassian Toolset


• Data analysis and visualization


• CI/CD and configuration of tools, servers, IDE and test environment


• GUI design


• Multi-threading or asynchronous programming


• Experience supporting multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux, MacOS

Position will be based in our Cambridge, MA office
