As a Principal Consultant in Testing, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and manage testing end to end for a specific program. You will understand the requirements, prepare testing approach and estimates, handle the testing team, manage multiple stakeholders to ensure success of the testing program. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
Candidate must be located preferably within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area

Preferred Qualifications:
11+ years of experience in technical and architecture roles with 3-5 years of experience in Test Architect roles with strong conceptual knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, middleware, Micro services and Service Virtualization
Strong QA leadership and engineering experience in implementing SOA Test Automation and CI/CD concepts
Consulting experience working in customer-facing engagements
Good communication skills - verbal and written - with the ability to collaborate well in a team and across organizations
Good experience conceptualizing and designing overall pipeline architecture
Experience leading technical teams to solve business challenges
Broad automation experience in build, test, configuration and deployment in complex environments
Strong experience in managing environments from development to production
Strong experience in scripting languages
Understanding and experience with a variety of deployment approaches
Serve as key leader and expert on Microservices, middleware QA and Service Virtualization
Lead client engagements to enhance Quality Assurance methodologies for the Integration and E2E testing
Design Microservices, middleware test automation frameworks and tools in support of client needs
Present a broad knowledge across various products across integration layers
Work closely with different organizations at client location
Implement solutions for automation of Microservices/ API System& Integration Testing
Prepare and deliver presentations and demos
Quickly understand the client environments, business needs, and culture
Business Consulting skills (client and business acumen, influencing/negotiating skills with client/product vendors and external stakeholders, cultural affinity)
Client interfacing abilities to provide advisory consulting to senior level client executives
Understanding and experience with a variety of Automation frameworks, Commercial and opens source tools like ReadyAPI (SOAPUI), Parasoft SOATest, CA LISA DevTest, IBM RIT.
Strong experience in coding on Java, .NET, JavaScript's, Groovy & VBScript
Knowledge on Service Virtualization tools like CA LISA, Parasoft Virtualize & HP Virtualization
Knowledge on open-source tools like RestAssured, Mockito or Wiremock
Thorough understanding of CICT integration of Test scripts on leading frameworks like Jenkins, TFS or Bamboo
Knowledge of Unit testing and Functional testing frameworks (JUnit, NUnit, Maven, TestNG, BDD)
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Docker, Ansible, Application Insights)
Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile)
Knowledge of development concepts (REST, JSON, Web services and Microservices etc.)
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
