Job Description:

The ACR Finance Team is looking for an experienced Tableau Developer to lead the development of financial dashboards for various audiences.  In this newly created position, you will build the tools and dashboard capabilities which will automate and elevate ACR’s financial insight to the next level. 

Who you are:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a subject matter expert in using Tableau to represent financial results.  This person  will have experience building dashboards from scratch: extracting data from various sources, working with business partners to understand requirements, and owning production and user acceptance.   While experience working with budgeting, sales, or marketing teams is a plus, the right candidate is resourceful, innovative, and wants to be a partner as part of a highly collaborative Finance team in determining the best data points and representations to provide insights.

What you will be responsible for:

• Develop Tableau reports from multiple data sources using Cross database joins, Data Blending.


• Use Tableau as a front-end BI tool to develop workbooks, dashboards, global filter pages, and complex parameters-based calculations.


• Create ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) workflows for data mining, data cleansing, data load into a relational and non-relational database that include creating database tables, views, and collection.


• Integrate Tableau server and reports with APIs, single sign-on or other applications such as R or Python for predictive analytics and for real time data reporting.


• With ACR IT Team, create workflows for data integration


• Validate data for accuracy and completeness against source-of-truth financial statements.


• Interact with business users to identify dashboard strategies, report layouts.


• Participate in defining best practices around report development, testing, access management, and report refresh scheduling; propose efficiencies and improvements to existing processes.


• Administer financial hierarchies and user accounts/user security, and serve as the financial data administrator and liaison with ACR IT for both Planful and Tableau systems

You possess the following qualifications:

The Tableau Developer will be a dedicated and integral member of the Finance Team.  The position will not manage people; however, will provide coaching and training to the team for Tableau as needed. 

Systems/Technical:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Finance, or relevant field


• Tableau Certification required


• 4-6 years/Advanced computer literacy (SQL, Tableau Data Visualization, AWS Data Warehouse) required


• Proven success in automating processes


• Familiarity with ERPs, budgeting/reporting tools, AMS/CMS, and HRIS systems. ACR’s current suite includes: MS Dynamics GP, Planful, SalesForce/Nimble, and Ultipro. 


• Experience supporting financial teams (budgeting, sales, marketing) desired but not required
