The Worldwide Alliances & Channels organization at Salesforce provides global leadership developing partnerships with our Strategic Consulting Partners and Service Partners. Salesforce is transforming the industry. The Salesforce Industries Cloud Solution Alliances - Analyst is vital to this transformation, leading the development of implementation productivity, sales, and pre-sales excellence for the Insurance industry within our Industry Cloud Solution Alliances ecosystem.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Industry Cloud Alliance Analyst position will be responsible for developing and executing a Global Partner Practice Development Strategy program in collaboration with partners, regional sales teams, supporting channel organizations, and other key stakeholders. His or her responsibility will be to develop and drive the execution of Salesforce's Industry Cloud Alliance programs and initiatives that focus on expanding our partner ecosystem capacity and capabilities. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for evangelizing Salesforce's value proposition within the partner organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Work directly with global leaders from selected partners to develop Salesforce training programs for Financial Services Cloud that include repeatable implementation training assets, reference architectures and Insurance solutions.


  • Work with the Salesforce Worldwide Cloud Alliances and Channels team members to execute partner capacity and capabilities plans in targeted regions, drive certification growth and deliver customer success.


  • Conduct regular cadence with selected partners, Salesforce Product Management and company leaders.


  • Plan and execute partner training workshops, webinars, office hours and partner advisory boards.


  • Design and deliver regional focused presentations, programs, and content for partners.

WORK EXPERIENCE


  • Industry domain experience in Insurance, Group Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance and/or Life Insurance experience is required.


  • 3+ years' experience in a Salesforce or Vlocity technical role.


  • Proven ability to build, lead and execute strategy in a cross-functional environment.


  • Prior experience working with Salesforce or other Insurance specific applications is an advantage.


  • Analytical, organizational, and project management skills, using relevant information to make timely decisions that affect cross-functional teams and has substantial impact on investments and program effectiveness.


  • Executive presence and technical depth to function as leader / advisor and deliver training to the Salesforce partners.


  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization.


  • Strong tolerance for an ever changing environment and the ability to focus and deliver results.


  • Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.


  • High degree of confidence in presenting technical content and leading technical training workshops.


  • Willingness to travel.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES



  • Below Salesforce certifications preferred (required as part of onboarding):



    • Certified OmniStudio Developer (Vlocity)


    • Certified Insurance Consultant (Vlocity)


    • Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and Platform App Builder


    • Consultant Certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc)




  • BA/BS/MS/MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
