Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will support the development
of software systems and solutions in support of factory automation and
engineering test data systems. The Software
Engineer will make use of database administration and design as well as
strong programming and coding skills. Project
work will include the creation of data pipelines, development of data
visualization, and the automation of data-based applications to drive key
decisions for the business. The Software Engineer will team with members of the
Big Data group to plan, design, develop and test software solutions and applications
for the business.

Responsibilities/Skills:


  • Programming experience with Java, Javascript, Python, C++ or other programming languages

  • Establish multi-platform versions of the software package

  • Write tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability

  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud computing

  • Development experience in the following: JSON, CMake, GCC or Git

  • Deep understanding of relational and cloud database structure

  • BE database design and administration using MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or others

  • Experience with web services

  • Extract and develop management reports from databases and do data mining and analysis to identify opportunities to drive operational excellence

  • Business Intelligence and Visualization tools, e.g.: QuickSight, Tableau, Spotfire, MSPowerBI, etc

  • Create scalable, automated solutions

Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology

  • Experience in semiconductor test engineering

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
