The Assistant Director is responsible for overseeing the operations of both Residential & Day Services ensuring the safety and well-being of all program Participants through ongoing collaboration with the Clinical & Program Directors while providing direct supervision and ongoing mentoring to the Program Managers who will be managing clusters of CLA's. The Assistant Director will also be expected to create, oversee and improve operational systems to ensure continued quality improvement while supporting and participating in the growth and development of both residential and day service programs. Responsibilities/Duties
Participate in operational systems review & strategic planning and development meetings with administrative team to analyze and improve existing operational systems & to set and review short and long term strategic and tactical goals to ensure increased efficiency, continuous quality improvement and programmatic growth.
Participate in ongoing review of Participant medical charts, ensuring that all appointments and necessary paperwork are completed and up-to-date.
Schedule, conduct and participate in meetings as needed to include: a. ISP, Management, Team Lead, All Staff, Monthly Monitoring, Retreat
Co-conduct Program Management meetings to review program and staff needs and to ensure completion of: Medical Charts, Monthly Reports, Census Reports, R & B Payments, Vehicle/House Inspections & Crossover/Bi-Weekly Med Check Forms, Check Requests/Receipts, MAR Logs
Assist in the provision of direct care as needed for special events and/or emergencies
Assists in the development and maintenance of an on-call system to ensure continuity of care when there are clinical/staffing/housing emergencies.
Required Experience
Thorough knowledge of PA Chapter 6400 regulations
Program development, goal planning and implementation of the Team planning process
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to function as a member of a team, which works together to ensure a high quality of life of each Member
Ability to support and maintain adherence to boundaries
Ability to achieve outcomes with Members as determined in their Team Plan
Ability to support and implement Adesha Village and RHD values
Ability to engage Members and their Team in an effective, therapeutic and healthy manner.
Required Education
A Master's degree from an accredited college or university and one year work experience working directly with persons with IDD or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with two years of work experience working directly with persons with IDD
Required Qualifications
Valid PA drivers license
State police clearance
FBI clearance and/or Child Abuse Clearance, as required
CPR and First Aid certification
