Chubb’s Information Management Reference Data Management Team

Chubb is looking for agile practitioners to help deliver Chubb’s Reference Data Management capabilities across the enterprise. This role will be located in Whitehouse Station.

Scrum Master Job Responsibilities

• Scrum Master works as part of DMD team and in servant/leader capacity, enables the scrum team to deliver reference data to projects across the enterprise and realize gains through efficiencies


• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies (PI planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives etc.)


• Interfaces with business areas and other Chubb IT teams to coordinate work, manage cross-functional dependencies and foster collaboration


• Measures productivity of the scrum team and works on continuously improving team’s productivity


• Prepare weekly reports outlining Sprint accomplishments, upcoming tasks and deliverables, issues, impediments, risks, and opportunities for improvement


• Manage stakeholder communications (i.e., delivery plans, dependencies, risks, impediments)

• 3-5 years’ experience as a scrum master


• Experienced in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), as well as Agile Tools for Project Management (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)


• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques


• Experience with teams distributed globally across locations, cultures, and time zones preferred


• Scrum Master certification (SAFe) preferred


• Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Business preferred

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail
