We are a national healthcare consulting firm and are currently seeking a diligent Project Associate who will provide assessments, implementation assistance, and interim management for healthcare organizations across the United States. When assigned a project at an organization, you will communicate with the client/project manager to express any delays, concerns or roadblocks in regard to the overall goal of your engagement.


Furthermore, as Project Associate, you will be able to implement changes to the hospital quickly and efficiently, which allows you to not only improve organizational processes but overall patient care as well. Our Project Associate are subject matter experts interested in short and long-term assignments and/or interim management opportunities. As a Project Associate, the assignments will vary in length, location, and responsibilities. These are determined by the client's needs. Responsibilities:


As a Case Management Project Associate, you will develop an action plan based on the recommendations provided by the assessment and monitor the progress of the action items within your plan.



  • Meeting with key contacts and stakeholders

  • Conducting interviews with hospital personnel

  • Observing departmental practices to understand operational realities

  • Interpreting data analysis results to validate the results of interviews and observations

  • Compiling a summary of departmental accomplishments


Requirements:


As a Case Management Project Associate, you must be personable, collaborative, confident and caring for both patients and permanent staff members. Therefore, it is very important that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must also be able to travel consistently.



  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Director role within an hospital setting

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Case Management or related discipline CDI or Denials Management in a hospital setting

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

  • Active Registered Nursing License required

  • CCM and/or ACM Certifications preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
