JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will support the Credit and Collections function within a BSC. The CSR - AR Team Lead is responsible for the daily tasks related to training and supporting the CSR - AR Collectors in their assigned area.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following:
* Monitors and assures any workflow established by Supervisor is working, reports problems, and helps maintain the work flow of assigned area.
* Helps direct work of associates in the assigned area as needed by the regional supervisor.
* Assists in training new employees in job duties.
* Assists supervisor in daily activities. In absence of Supervisor reports issues or problems to Department Manager.
* Works on special projects when not working with team. If projects require team effort, monitors progress and issues for reporting to Supervisor.
* Knowledge of all procedures in the assigned area.
* Maintains collections of territory assignment, according the requirements and standards of CSR-AR Collectors.
* Special projects and other duties as assigned.

* A proven track record of success in prior Accounts Receivable roles. Supervisory experience is a plus.
* An ability to see the credit and collections operation as a financially oriented customer service function which balances cost control with support for the business as well as a source of operational improvement.
* The successful candidate must have a strong "client service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
* 2 to 4 years commercial collection experience (needs to be comparable to CSR II level); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Management experience including people development skills and leadership qualities.
* Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Understanding of quality customer service and the relationship to collection efforts.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.
