As the Senior Specialist, Cash Applications, you will be responsible for the daily management of a dedicated portfolio of the highest-level key customers as defined by complexity, volume, business unit, credit exposure/risk and other factors. You'll build strategic relationships with customers and internal partners to drive resolution of current and aged unapplied cash/credits while assisting cash application team members as a subject matter expert for each sub process. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Build solid relationships with various B2B customer contacts and internal partners in Sales, Collections, Customer Service, etc.


• Conduct and interpret complex research and remittances; analyze trends to improve customer payment performance


• Create and maintain effective procedures for specific business units within North America Transport


• Collaborate and foster effective communication with peers, other departments and leadership


• Develop and track an action plan to meet monthly individual and departmental goals


• Complete special assignments as needed

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 2 years of experience in B2B Accounts Receivable roles

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance


• Successful employment history working within a shared service center or on a large collections team


• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Excel, including pivot tables, macros and v-lookup


• Oracle, BI experience


• Cash application strategy software experience


• Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications as needed
