Overview: Responsible for building the brand sustainability vision, strategy, and roadmap. Orchestrating the roadmap activation, roll out, and monitoring. Engaging and upskilling all brand employees and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Frame an ambitious 2030 sustainability vision and strategy for the brand, in cooperation with thebrand management committee
Seta clear roadmap withyearly milestones, based on product footprint analysis and Brand sustainability scorecard; this will include product eco-design and disruptive sustainable innovations
Design and frame a relevant brand cause, together with the Corporate Responsibility team
Be the brand expert in sustainability and know your brand sustainability landscape(legislation, consumer trends, innovations,key stakeholders) to advise your Brand GeneralManager on relevant opportunities
Share and align the brandroadmapwith the DivisionSustainability Director
Establish the right governance at DMI level to activate the brand sustainability roadmap, and notably:
Set-up and lead a Brand Sustainability Committee, including representatives from all functions and main markets
Work closely with Zone Brand heads to support activation globally
Create a specific workstream for the PIL roll-out
Ensure Sustainability is addressed in all key meetings (worldwide meetings, country visits, management committee meetings, etc.)
Monitor andupdate the Division SustainabilityDirectorand internal Stakeholders on roadmapprogress
Report annually on your progress to the Corporate Responsibility team
In collaboration with the Brand and Division Communications team:
Ensure that all Brand Employees are informed about the brand sustainability commitments
Build an internal / external communication plan to raise awareness about on the brand sustainability vision, strategy and roadmap
Define an engagement strategy withconsumersaround the brand sustainability
Partner with the Learning team to ensure Sustainability upskilling for all brand employees, through the L4TF learning journey
Job Requirements:
12+ years of related business experience
Strong Project Management Competencies
Leadership skills to drive cooperation across the brand organization
Strong business acumen
Learning agility to develop further expertise in sustainability
Expertise in sustainability preferred
PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
Information & Data management
Quantitative data analysis skills
Prioritization & Organization Skills
Strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)
