AS AN EXPORT COORDINATOR,  YOU WILL: 

•    Perform export duties for international shipments from North American plants, service centers, parts warehouse and  other distribution locations.
•    Work with Fisher Project Management, Sales, and International Sales to coordinate timely shipment of projects.
•    Manage orders through a variety of web-based tools.
•    Obtain necessary information on incomplete or revised shipping requirements.
•    Obtain quotes for freight and containerization.
•    Complete advanced shipping documentation, including use of various customer specific forms.
•    Provide support for international offices/contacts/representatives using Fisher system information.
•    Following shipment, responsible for correct completion of all documents and retrieval in accordance with record keeping requirements.
•    Correspond with external organizations such as customs agents, freight forwarders and carriers.
•    Ensure compliance with international laws, regulations, and procedures regarding movement of goods.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

•    High School Diploma or GED 
•    Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and email
•    Must perform well in a fast-paced team environment  

•    Solid decision making skills
•    Flexible and adaptable to change
•    A high sense of customer service

 

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • 2 year degree  

  •  Knowledge of Oracle  

  • Knowledge of export form completion, correspondence, internet tracking, etc.
