Position Description
The Food Service Cashier will be responsible for setting up and operates cash register, and calculating individual food purchases made by employees, guests, and patients. The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, and others in order to maintain sound public relations. Additionally duties include replenishing snacks, coke products and working the food service line as needed.Position Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.


• Ability to perform simple math computations, operate standard cash registers, and make accurate cash transactions of customer purchases.


• The ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients and other hospital personnel.
