Financial Investors – Associate
Since opening its Glasgow office in February 2020, the Financial Investors team at A&M has enjoyed exponential growth. Our team has grown from two to twelve in a very short space of time and under very challenging circumstances. The team has developed into a close knit and supportive group who are committed to delivering exceptional client service.
Financial Investor tax matters can be extremely challenging and often involve complex interactions between the principal taxes as well as international taxes which requires liaising with overseas advisors. Our team of experts principally advise investment funds, managing all aspects of an investment fund cycle – from establishing the fund through to advising on the acquisition and disposal of investments by the fund along with assisting investee companies including incentivizing investee companies’ management teams and providing personal tax advice to the individual fund executives.
Our Financial Investors team has a diverse and thriving portfolio of notable fund clients based in Scotland, the Regions, London as well as overseas who expect a tailored and focused approach to tax advice. We help and support our clients by identifying their key tax concerns and advising on strategies to address those concerns. We help clients with a wide range of issues, from advising on the establishment of new funds, providing tax compliance services throughout the life of the fund and supporting on fund transactions.
