Job Description:

POSITION INFORMATION: Coordinates a special medical research program by coordinating activities, planning the program, performing assessment and data analysis, preparing reports, providing technical support and counseling, etc.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES



  1. Activity Coordination. Coordinates activities with institutions, counselors, students and professionals to facilitate proper functioning of the program. 


  2. Program Planning. Assists in the development of the overall plan for the PRMS program. 


  3. Assessment. Assesses individuals through interviews and testing. May determine the eligibility of subjects for the program. 


  4. Data Analysis. Analyzes and interprets data found through research or assessment. 


  5. Report Preparation. Prepares reports stating findings, recommendations, etc. 


  6. Technical Support. Provides technical or healthcare support for the program by performing varying tasks as deemed necessary by the current situation. 


  7. Counseling. May provide counseling to patients, subjects, family members, etc. 


  8. Communication. Communicates with students, faculty, alumni, professionals, administrators, etc. 


  9. Scheduling. Schedules appointments for testing, interviews, counseling sessions, etc. 


  10. Research. Conducts scientific research and collects data. 


  11. Training. Collaborates with other program employees to develop and provide training to support staff, students, etc.  


  12. Meeting Attendance. Attends or visits various events or meetings that involve obtaining support for the program, keeping abreast of current issues, etc. 


  13. As Needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Sociology, or another healthcare or research related field.

 

Experience:  12 months experience in the field where the vacancy exists.

 

Equivalent/Substitution:  Will accept equivalency in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Skills:


  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.

  • Ability to work independently as a team member.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
