Human Resources Manager



The Human Resources Manager provides broad HR support and direction to all levels of the organization to facilitate achievement of business goals and objectives. Participates in the development and implementation of core Human Resources programs. Identifies areas of opportunity and recommends new approaches, solutions and procedures to elevate performance. Responsible for overseeing critical areas including staffing & recruiting, employee relations & engagement, performance management, benefits administration, communications, policy interpretation and administration. The role will have an emphasis on recruitment, employee relations, performance management and benefits administration.



Key duties and activities include:




  • Engaging with hiring managers to evaluate and identify talent gaps; lead recruitment and placement activities to secure key talent

  • Analyzing and evaluating KPIs such as time to fill, costs vs budget.

  • Oversee performance management activities including coaching managers on goal setting, creating development plans, identifying and addressing performance concerns, managing performance improvement process

  • Counsel and coach supervisors and managers as needed on areas such as employee engagement, communications, etc.

  • Provide guidance and direction to employees at all levels of the company regarding Company policies and procedures and general employee issues.

  • Assist in developing and delivering human resources communications

  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of health, dental, wealth, wellness, life and ancillary benefit programs, activities and projects.



Requirements:



  • Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 5-10 years Human Resource Generalist experience

  • Experience in full cycle recruitment

  • Strong counselling, coaching and communication skills

  • Proven project and change management expertise, ability to work independently

  • Experience and knowledge of HCM/HRIS systems - Workday preferred. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
