HORNE, one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the Southeast, is seeking a Marketing Associate who will support HORNE’s marketing department. This position will work in a collaborative environment to execute project deliverables with defined timelines and expectations. The ideal candidate will have a mix of design and social media skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge of social and digital media platforms as well as tools involved in production and project management
Create social media graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suites
Assist with digital media campaigns
Social media scheduling and posting
Perform research to guide marketing campaigns
Assist in tracking of data and providing ongoing reports
Prioritize, organize and accomplish tasks assigned
Utilize creative and alternative thinking skills to develop ideas and answers to work-related problems
Execution of defined marketing plans
Preparation for trade shows and marketing events
Assist with special projects and proofing
Support the team's overall marketing activities (content creation, editorial calendars, email campaigns, social media management, website optimization, developing creative campaigns, digital analytics reports, and more)

Education & Experience
Strong preference given to candidates with marketing and communications experience with a degree in a marketing, communication, or other relevant major at an accredited college/university, with a 3.0+ GPA
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
Ability to create graphics using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Basic knowledge HubSpot CRM helpful
WordPress experience a plus
