A Southern California Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapists Supervisor for their 200 bed non profit medical center.

The Supervisor of Respiratory Services will report to the Director of Respiratory Services, and additionally will collaborate with the leaders of all units: NICU, ICU, ER, PACU, OR & Cath Lab to implement a comprehensive respiratory therapy approach.  The Supervisor of  Respiratory Services will oversee a highly trained and skilled team of Respiratory Therapists.

The Medical Center is seeking an individual to provide timely and appropriate care of patients in the 20 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the high-volume emergency department, the 10 OR suite, PACU and the Cath Lab.  The Cardiopulmonary Supervisor must be a graduate of a recognized Respiratory Therapy program, while bachelors in Business Management or Healthcare is preferred.

The Supervisor of Respiratory will be responsible for the planning, organization, direction, coordination and integration of the department to include administrative, technical and educational aspects of operations in association with, and under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services.

The Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy will oversee a team comprised of skilled registered respiratory Therapists, Certified Respiratory Therapists and Student Trainees.  The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient care within the reparatory department and arterial blood gas lab to ensure patient’s Respiratory Care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.
