The Advisory UI Engineer will be working in the Software Development team on tasks related to designing and building complex front-end applications.


 


What You’ll Be Doing




  •  Design and develop complex user interactions working with the Product and UX teams

  • Develop and maintain company web applications for several product lines

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile-ready single-page applications (SPAs)

  • Keep up to date on of the latest UI/UX frameworks and best practices

  • Develop and conduct system usability tests

  • Mentor and provide direction to other UI engineers, including code reviews, documentation and architectural guidance

  • Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely fashion

 


What You’ll Bring to the Table



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Systems, Design or a related field, or an equivalent academic or professional experience

  • Experience developing applications using modern UI frameworks, Angular preferred

  • Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications, Ionic 2+ preferred

  • Experience building front-end applications interacting with RESTful back-end services

  • Experience applying security, authentication and authorization best practices

  • Experience using Git source code control (Bitbucket, GitHub)

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, LESS, or SASS

  • ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessibility development a plus

  • 8-10 years of experience in user interface design and development desired

  • Excellent communication skills, time-management, and interpersonal skills

 


What’s Good to Know 



  • This role can be a Hybrid Remote role if you reside in the metro Atlanta Area.

  • Occasional travel, usually no more than 3-5 days per month

  • Occasional on-call/after-hours support
