The Advisory UI Engineer will be working in the Software Development team on tasks related to designing and building complex front-end applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and develop complex user interactions working with the Product and UX teams
Develop and maintain company web applications for several product lines
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile-ready single-page applications (SPAs)
Keep up to date on of the latest UI/UX frameworks and best practices
Develop and conduct system usability tests
Mentor and provide direction to other UI engineers, including code reviews, documentation and architectural guidance
Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely fashion
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Systems, Design or a related field, or an equivalent academic or professional experience
Experience developing applications using modern UI frameworks, Angular preferred
Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications, Ionic 2+ preferred
Experience building front-end applications interacting with RESTful back-end services
Experience applying security, authentication and authorization best practices
Experience using Git source code control (Bitbucket, GitHub)
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, LESS, or SASS
ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessibility development a plus
8-10 years of experience in user interface design and development desired
Excellent communication skills, time-management, and interpersonal skills
What’s Good to Know
This role can be a Hybrid Remote role if you reside in the metro Atlanta Area.
Occasional travel, usually no more than 3-5 days per month
Occasional on-call/after-hours support
