Position Summary

The System Quality and Reliability Engineering team is essential to the success of our cloud services. As a Software Developer Engineer in Test on this team, you will be working on complex systems running on-prem as well as in the cloud, relational databases and large and complex datasets. You will focus on optimizing overall product quality, performance and reliability. You will be defining, building, and enhancing test automation framework to speed up DocuSign's ML and AI product delivery with highest software quality. The key qualities we're looking for is a true self-started, problem solver, someone who enjoys digging deeper and has a need to understand systems and how they're wired.

This position reports to the Director of Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Engineering, Support and Product Management teams to review and document requirements, execute performance tests and troubleshoot/resolve issues


• Design test plan & test cases with complex workloads and complex simulated customer contracts to expose potential bottlenecks and failure points


• Design, build and enhance test automation frameworks for REST APIs & Web applications


• Improve QA efficiency by building new tools and process


• Continuous improvement of regression test assets


• Be a focused results-oriented team member

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field


• This role is not eligible for OPT or sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Coding and design experience, preferably in an object oriented programming language like Java, Ruby, C#


• Completed courses focused on Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms


• Completed courses focused on Artificial Intelligence or Machine learning


• Experience with consuming, Testing and building RESTful web services.


• Experience with git, continuous integration, and deployment tools.


• Experience in unit testing tools like TestNG, Junit or something similar


• Excellent communication skills
