The Market Development Manager will be responsible for clinical support and market development of the focus portfolio segments including Deformity, Cervical, and MIS Procedural Solutions. Developing relationships with HCP's, Agents & Sales Representatives and be the conduit between the Spine organization and the customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support with a focus The Tether, Vital Deformity, and Mobi-C

  • Developing and presenting Direct to Patient (DTP) and Co-Marketing plans

  • Development and delivery of regional customer education seminars

  • Be the ambassador and technical expert for The Tether, Deformity portfolio, and Mobi-C

  • Produce weekly plan and review documents and quarterly plan and review documents

  • Be the conduit to the field for information flows between sales, marketing, engineering, regulatory functions and other

Expected Areas of Competence

  • Uses knowledge of existing products, new developments and market needs.

  • Develops a firm understanding of complex deformity surgery and how to navigate to successful outcomes.

  • Helps prepare forecasts and identifies market shifts and threats.

  • Uses and understands technical medical language to interact with internal and external customers.

  • Translates technical language and discusses it internally in business terms.

  • Builds and maintains long-term relationships with high level surgical consultants, key strategic customers and regional sales teams to promote and support the Zimmer brands.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required

  • A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required

  • A minimum of 3 years of capital sales or advanced technology sales experience is required

  • A demonstrated track record of achieving excellent results is required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required

  • Strong presentations skills are required

Travel Requirements

  • 50-70% (potential overnight and/or weekends)

Compensation Range: $116,300 - $135,200
