Job Description

This will be a technical role primarily responsible for Tier III support requests for Atlassian Tools/CI/CD Integrations. You will collaboratively work to define support best practices, architectural enhancements, and drive adherence to process and security best practices. Your responsibilities will cover but not limited to Atlassian Tools, Network/Server Admin, Storage systems, and AD/SSO services.

As our Senior IT Ops Engineer in Folsom, you must exhibit engineering values and maintain a high level of professionalism in providing excellent customer service, along with exercising sound judgment to provide timely resolution of problems & escalations. You must understand the office culture and maintain excellent relationships with global customers, business partners, and IT team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide escalation/mentoring to existing staff for general Atlassian support needs.


• Identify opportunities for SRDC Engineering IT to take over CI/CD tasks from Dev team


• Solve any problem through data analysis, technical troubleshooting and improve ways of working by streamlining processes.


• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner; acts as final point of contact for technical or personnel escalations.


• Work closely with IT Leadership on strategic initiatives.


• Drive multiple information technology projects and drive project deliverables.


• Manage and triage incoming work for the region: tickets triage, project work, etc.


• Provide technical leadership for network and storage projects and services


• Develop and maintain relationships with multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience


• 3-5 years' experience supporting/upgrading on-prem Atlassian Server/Datacenter products including Jira, Bitbucket/repositories, Crucible, Confluence and Crowd


• 3-5 years Linux administration (Redhat/CentOS), including scripting


• 3-5 years' experience supporting VMWare ESX Hosts in an HA environment


• Hands-on knowledge of Veeam backup services


• Hands-on experience managing Cisco networking/VLAN's


• 3-5 years' experience with implementing and supporting High Availability services


• Experience with deploying DevSecOps environments including MFA and security best practices


• Hands-on working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory application integrations
