Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for releasing conditional and unconditional lien waivers to customers, as well as, working closely with team members and management to resolve billing inconstancies and any other customer service-related duties.

Essential Duties

 

• Release Conditional and Unconditional lien waivers to customers


• Performs daily mail-out of printed Customer invoices


• Handles customer inquiries and provides necessary documents as requested.


• Collaborating customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors when needed


• Other customer service-related duties as needed and required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Billing Associate and or Customer Service with general accounting experience


• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing


• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records


• Ability to meet SLA requirements agreed upon between the shared service center and the business it supports.


• Construction Lien Waiver experience preferred


• Customer/Client Focus


• Demonstrates a sense of urgency or ability to meet deadlines


• Flexibility


• Ability to interact with modern computer systems, and accessorial applications such as MS Excel, MSWord, Adobe Acrobat


• Problem Solving/Analysis


• Results Driven/Detail- Oriented


• Strong Work Ethic/Self-starter


• Ability to work across the organization with different business stakeholders


• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• At least 2 years related experience or college degree


• Lien Waiver experience required


• Notary license preferred


• Portable Billing experience preferred


• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills


• Strong communication skills


• Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Excellent telephone skills


• Team player – ability to share information within the department and company
