Position Summary:



The Supplier Lifecycle Management Specialist is responsible for the execution of the predefined end-to-end process to manage and monitor compliance of the supplier base throughout the supplier's life or contract period in support of the supply chain functions.


This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and engagement with suppliers to acquire information and documentation to qualify and maintain suppliers in an efficient and effective manner.


The Supplier Lifecycle Management Specialist plays a critical role in driving value creation by maintaining supplier compliance on a technical, commercial, and financial basis, and through continuous improvement initiatives.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



The job responsibilities for the Supplier Lifecycle Management Specialist include:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop a qualified supplier base that meet their needs.
Evaluate potential suppliers to determine if they meet FORTNA Standards.
Manage the FORTNA qualification of new suppliers and maintain existing suppliers on a technical, commercial, and financial basis.


Acquires/maintains and files supplier certifications (i.e., steel certifications, safety, etc.)
Gathers Supplier Certificates of Insurance (COI). Works with Hylant, FORTNA insurance broker on discrepancies, negotiates with supplier to maintain required coverage.
Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) on the technical qualification to ensure compliance to FORTNA standards with minimal risk.
Collaborates with Finance throughout the lifecycle of a supplier to ensure the supplier can financially meet all obligations to FORTNA and their customers.
Conducts supplier compliance audits/assessments.
Collaborates with Finance/Legal on Supplier Agreements and non-conformance as needed.
Executes Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (MNDA) with suppliers through Cobblestone/DocuSign.


Socializes FORTNA Agreements/Terms & Conditions with new suppliers to avoid delays in the issuance of purchase orders.
Maintains confidentiality of supplier records adhering to the company's document filing best practices.
Initiates the Supplier setup/maintenance in ERP system(s) (updates, Tax ID, contact information, address, bank details, etc.).
Supports Supplier Onboarding.
Maintains Sourcing Templates (RFP, RFI, collaborates with Legal on Agreements)
Completes supplier request for credit application and/or other terms & conditions to establish an account with supplier & maintain confidentiality of details.
Collaborate with suppliers to provide current lead-times on a consistent basis. Support SIOP.
Collaborate with PowerBI team on reporting needs, updates, and maintenance.
Maintain/update supply chain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage/maintain process mapping in Promapp.


Participates in the periodic review of supplier base to evaluate the need to offboard suppliers.
Supports internal teams on the execution of a Supplier exit.
Maintain and conduct training on supplier lifecycle management processes to ensure adherence and consistency across the business.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 3 - 7 years in a purchasing or buying role.
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with ERP systems.
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in MS Office Products and Adobe.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

• Ability to travel domestically; 10%



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



• 4-year degree in economics, engineering, business administration or supply chain management or relate field
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX, INFOR LN, Power BI, Promapp
• Knowledge of Certificates of Insurance
• Financial acumen



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



• Ability to walk, kneel, crouch and balance frequently.
• Ability to climb, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc., using feet, legs and/or hands and arms frequently.
• Ability to sit/stand frequently for long and/or intermittent periods of time.
• Time spent between general office environment (with normal sitting, standing and minimal, nominal lifting) and active construction site visits.
• Time spent on active job sites include subject to noise, being near moving mechanical parts, electrical power and control systems, and high places.
• Personal Protective Equipment required at active job sites.


The base salary range for this role is $48,600 to $74,900. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
