YOUR ROLE


Job Description- PSS is seeking a cleared Technical Project Manager/SCRUM Master to join the TETRA program in the Northern Virginia area. As a Project Manager, you will facilitate program-level software and infrastructure development processes, conduct program execution, escalate impediments, manage risk, and enable continuous improvement. You will also provide total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements. This is a high visibility position that requires attention to detail and experience in the Agile discipline. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and manage the program's Agile/Scrum process in support of the customer's on-prem and multi-cloud environment, as well as the respective COTS/GOTS products.



YOU BRING - Mandatory Requirements




  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)

  • Candidate must have one of the following:

    • 12 Years of job-related experience and High School/GED diploma

    • 10 Years of job-related experience and Associates degree

    • 8 Years of job-related experience and Bachelor's degree

    • 6 Years of job-related experience and Master's degree

    • 4 Years of job-related experience and Doctorate



  • Considered an expert in scrum master function

  • Expertise in project management and Agile methodology tools and techniques

  • Experience employing DevOps techniques, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

  • Knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools, and techniques (e.g., Kanban, velocity charts, control charts, burn-down metrics, etc.)

  • Strong team working skills across client and geographically dispersed virtual teams

  • Demonstrated experience managing and coaching teams

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience in project scheduling and project tools, such as Jira and Primavera

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience with requirements gathering and definition, working with stakeholders, coordination and facilitation of meetings, and technical discussions of requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to IT methodologies, and processes and standards for project management and Agile methodology



Also ideal - Preferred Skills/Experience:



  • Strong IT background and sound understanding of cloud-based technologies

  • Strong group facilitation and interaction skills

  • Knowledge of business process mapping and optimization skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Project Management Framework (PMF)

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)



As a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will:



  • Establish and refine product backlog, manage the sprint calendar for the release trains, and coordinate release planning events such as the backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospective

  • Facilitate sprint planning and support program-level ceremonies, support portfolio owner in leading program execution, and coach program teams in continuous improvement of value delivery

  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums

  • Identify risks to the product owner for mitigation

  • Drive the release through creating transparency utilizing metrics to drive positive change

  • Identify and facilitate resolution of dependencies and/or elevating program-level impediments to the product and portfolio owners

  • Maintain Jira and other tracking tools
