Position Overview

KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking a Data Analyst -Associate Information Security Analyst.This role is primarily responsible for understanding the current status of Information Security controls within the organization and responding to customer requests for information regarding the Information Security Program (ISP).

The position will collaborate with various departments, not limited to IT, Facilities, Compliance and Legal in order to collect information that is required.In addition, the role will have exposure to other aspects of information security relating to Information Security Operations and Vulnerability management.

Responsibilities


  • Execute Information Security operational tasks such as:

  • Be the first responder to complete customer request for comments on the Information Security Program. Including, facilitating responses for RFP's, RFI's, customer audits and other requests.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in preparing and documenting responses to security related questions and provide security leadership with input requests and future demands from customers.

  • Assist with maintaining security responses accordingly as controls and processes change to standardized security questions.

  • Support the security team in onsite audits that are conducted by customers.

  • Support preparing technical debriefs for customers requesting further details on vulnerability management.

  • Track risk items and communicate gaps and risks to security management

  • Be exposed to many aspects of Information Security, and a willingness to operate outside of their comfort zone.

Qualifications



  • Associates degree or comparable work experience


  • Zero to one year of Information Security experience with an understanding of any of the following (other security experience will be considered):Vulnerability Management;Security testing; Vendor and customer management; Security Incident Response; IT Security Auditing; Risk Management


  • Understanding and basic experience in security operations managing and maintaining IT general controls


  • IT operations and change management


  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products


  • eDiscovery and data recovery experience preferred


  • Must be able to travel via conventional means; including local, regional, and/or international travel
