Position Summary:

Responsible for directing, planning, and execution of the company's strategic plan relating to all OEM manufacturing and Engineering operations. Managing all related plant operations to ensure budgetary goals are met or exceeded. Provide leadership and development of the engineering and operations management to ensure professional growth and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and leadership for strategic initiatives to develop the business.

  • Communicates objectives and expectations to direct reports and ensure team is on pace for successfully completing targets and objectives.

  • Achieves assigned organizational objectives regarding forecasted budgets, unit sales and on time delivery, while being an active participant in the success of FS Solutions Aftermarket operations.

  • Develop and maintain product line profitability assessments and action plan to develop current design and maintain or improve profitability.

  • Perform market analysis on competing products, brands & trends.

  • Developing design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research.

  • Managing design schedule and in consistent communication with the sales team regularly about scheduling capabilities.

  • Creating full product designs and specifications using computer software modeling techniques.

  • Provide support and direction in developing the team to drive continuous improvement and effectively quote, design, build and deliver custom vacuum trucks and repairs.

  • Ensures all safety and environmental policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by all employees and are integrated into daily activities.

  • Prepare annual OEM and Engineering plans and expense budgets, monthly sales forecast and annual objectives for all Engineering and OEM manufacturing.

  • Support and drive Marketing efforts for Industrial Guzzler products.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product support sales management, direct experience in parts sales and distribution preferred

  • 2+ years of cost center management responsibility
