Your Role:


  • Participation on air quality improvement and clean transportation grant funding programs including: customer service support, document review, program compliance support, data management, marketing and outreach support, and other project support needs.
  • Providing support on client requests and research, subcontractor management, and project coordination.
  • Working closely with project managers and clients on several projects, sometimes simultaneously.
  • Communicating compliance program requirements to the public.
  • Understanding and communicating program requirements to the public and stakeholders.
  • Providing administrative support to project managers for engineering and administrative efforts, data entry, assistance with copying, filing, courier/mailing services, document review and control, general administrative support as assigned, customer relations, insurance certification review, and strong phone, and written communication skills.

Qualifications:


  • B.S. degree in an environmental related, technical discipline is required.
  • Exceptional project organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in MS Office in general, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photo Shop, Project and Adobe or other photo-editing/graphics software.
  • 1 - 5 years of experience supporting environmental programs is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and data analysis skills are required. This is a highly interactive position with daily verbal and written communication with the public and external clients.
  • Knowledge of the following subjects is helpful, but not required: drayage and trucking industries, commercial truck models and engines, zero-emission technologies for heavy-duty vehicles and off-road freight equipment, electric charging infrastructure, air quality standards and regulations.
  • Communication with Spanish speaking individuals is likely, therefore, bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
