The University of Miami/UHealth, has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse 2 in the Inpatient/Oncology department at the UTower location. The Oncology/Chemotherapy Registered Nurse will administer standard chemotherapy and biotherapy agents. Will prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient and family teaching.
A BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid State of Florida RN license and two (2) years of Oncology experience. Oncology Nurse Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course required. Recent experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents required. Cancer basics required. Oncology certified (OCN) preferred. Moderate to advance computer literacy and skills preferred. Must have current BLS and ACLS certification.
