Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintains preventive maintenance for all kitchen equipment, machinery and electrical equipment.
• Maintains inventory of parts and material for electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
• Performs maintenance and repair functions on major system breakdowns, which includes diagnosing, trouble shooting, repairing or replacing.
• Schedules operative and regular preventative maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
• Preforms preventive and regular maintenance of all equipment.
• Adheres to the operations procedures as required by all state and local codes.
• Maintains a log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and material necessary for repairs.
• Monitors, trouble-shoots and responds to facilities work orders using the project management system.
• Maintains all mechanical and cosmetic items in guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitors work load, and advises supervisor of work overload.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the Engineering Shop.
• Prepares daily work forms.
• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the Hotel and Casino, identifying potential problems, and resolving same.
• Responds to maintenance requests and house calls.
• Maintains Pool and Spa facilities as assigned.
• Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations and controls of the company.
• General Maintenance II is required to assist all specialty craft technicians as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Enforce Project 21 policy and procedures by monitoring area for underage gamblers.
• Suggests players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa.
• Suggests products, services and experiences to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years of General Maintenance Technician in the gaming/hospitality industry and possess required valid licenses.
• Be able to get license for scissors lift, boom lift, and fork lift. Added to qualifications
• Minimal knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to change light bulbs filters, operate power tools, hand tools, driving pick-up, golf cart, use ladders, clean pool tiles, water treatment of facilities.
• Ability to operate, maintain and install equipment in area of job specialty.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Ability to push or pull 100 lbs or more.
