Product Manager at Inmar

About You or Position Summary:

The Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to productize client analytics offerings for brands and retailers that maximize revenue and adoption by Inmar’s MarTech customers. This role is responsible for the development of new client reporting products as well as enhancements and support of the existing analytics product suite.  The product line will focus on sales lift, audience insights, and campaign measurement for brands and retailers.

Primary Accountabilities:

Project Management (80%)


  • Successfully bring new client analytics products to market as measured by client adoption rates and revenue.

  • Perform market research through customer calls and internal Inmar associate interviews to identify new opportunities and flush out customer needs. 

  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to document requirements, features and end products.

  • Research emerging market trends and perform competitive market research in order to be an expert with respect to the competition.

  • Make recommendations to the Product Steering Team and Product Leadership with regard to new feature candidates.  

  • Lead workflow with engineering to execute new product features based on agreed to specifications. Track project deliverables and milestones.

  • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) business needs as detailed technical requirements.

  • Act as the project manager for feature development. Manage deliverables, identify and remove roadblocks, ensure releases are launched correctly and on schedule and triage issues as needed.  

  • Lead “Go To Market” Phase including collaborating with Product Marketing on collateral; Sales and Solutions Engineering training; and coordinating deliverables for launch from key stakeholders.

Analytical (20%)


  • Assist with reporting visualization and storytelling to ensure data products clearly present the data in an easily digestible and actionable way to users.

  • Functional QA testing of client analytics products to ensure new features meet product requirements for accuracy, functionality, performance and usability. 

Required Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Ideally with data science or engineering coursework)

  • 3-5 years of related work experience in product management 

  • Experience in the Ad Tech or Mar Tech industry specifically with data, analytics or media measurement

  • Adept at analyzing data and presenting data in a way where clients can draw meaningful and actionable insights.

  • Ability to communicate actionable and clear messages across teams to users with various technical skill levels and roles.  

  • Proficient in BI tools (i.e. Looker) and Google Suite

  • Experience with agile framework and ideally agile software (Atlassian, Jira) 

  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
