We are looking for a talented MOS Team Manager to join our team specializing in Cummins Power Systems for our Power systems Business Segment in Seymour, IN.

 Your impact will happen in these and other ways: 


  • Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.

  • Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.

  • Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

  • Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.

  • Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.

  • Coaches and mentors team members.

Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.

Organizational savvy - Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics.

Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Supervisory experience (3 plus years) preferred.


  • 2nd shift position, successful candidate will be relied on to fill many different roles throughout the evening

  • Confident decision maker, problem solving skills & ability to deal with complex problems

  • Collaborating cross functionally

  • Time management, managing own time as well as the teams
