Summary: The Field Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting part-time and full-time employees across multiple Distribution Centers .This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting with a strong emphasis on sourcing applicants utilizing various methods. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will consult with field operations, management and corporate HR to ensure alignment between recruiting needs and recruiting strategy; maintain the Applicant Tracking System. As a consultant to the HR Business Partners and Operations Management, the Field Recruiting Specialist will guide their team through, interviewing, selection, and offers with a strong emphasis on a positive candidate experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sources candidates by utilizing various methods (i.e., networking, referrals, online searches, internet postings, job/career fairs, local trade schools, etc.)
Sources and screens candidates by thoroughly evaluating candidates for job fit against role requirements
Manages recruiting process and acts as a candidate advocate during the screening, job acceptance and assignment process
Supports the pre-employment process (scheduling interviews, background checks, drug-testing, etc.) to ensure compliance and proper applicant tracking flow and records maintenance
Works directly with the HR team to develop recruitment strategies based on geographic needs
Conducts realistic job previews, site visits, and office interviews to measure capability and aptitude
May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less-experienced staff
Consults and partners with field business partners, managers and Corporate HR to ensure alignment between recruiting needs and recruiting strategy
Collaborates with other HR functions on recruiting issues (e.g., new hire requirements, compensation, etc.)
Completes the hiring process by drafting and gaining sign-off on offer letters
Coordinates with the HR Business Partner to ensure all new hire processing takes place on the employee's first day of work
Conducts skills testing and office interviews to measure capability and aptitude

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma
College degree a plus
3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, specifically for non-exempt positions
Experience with recruiting for distribution and warehouse environments a plus
Experience working with Applicant Tracking systems

Regular sitting at work station for 25 - 75% of the work shift
