In this role you will:

  • Own semi-monthly payroll processing for approximately 175 employees across the US.
  • Ensure payroll earnings, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other items are processed accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal payroll tax laws and regulations. Ensure all state and local jurisdictions are set up with the appropriate tax agencies and with the payroll provider.
  • Audit quarterly and annual payroll tax reports for accuracy. Run year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and review.
  • Manage leave of absence programs and requests in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the administration of benefits programs and collaborate with benefits vendors to solve employee benefits issues; and manage implementation and change processes for new vendors.
  • Oversee the HRIS system (Paylocity) ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Maintain HR data across internal systems to support data integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Lead ad hoc and recurring requests for data and reporting related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Assist in communication with employees and vendors, in relation to payroll, benefits or general HR requests.
  • Support HR and Finance project management; obtaining resources, contacting vendors, and/or processing invoices/contracts.
  • Provide support with HR special projects as needed.

What you will need to succeed:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience
  • Bachelors or Associates degree required
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
  • Prior experience processing multi state Payroll required
  • Prior experience in an HR or data analytics role
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred)
  • Strong Excel Skills, including competency in vlookup, pivot tables and intermediate formulas

Base Salary: $95 - $105k


At MedBridge, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within this range is informed by the candidate's skills, capabilities and experience.
