The Cluster Site Security Automation Lead is responsible for the manufacturing automation systems in terms of maintaining a constant high level of system reliability. This covers existing and newly deployed systems as part of Capital projects. He/ she will be actively applying Mondelez Global Automation and Information Systems standards and procedures and is responsible for the ongoing safe state of related systems. This includes regular and long-term activities including:
Financial planning to migrate obsolete systems into a current supported hardware and software.
Actively support automation driven deployments and new line/ equipment deployment in terms of integration. In scope are 3 Plants by cluster lead: Chicago, Naperville, Toledo mill.
Lead the Process, Control & Information Systems, including Developing and Executing the Digitalization roadmap and culture transformation in the cluster sites.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Serve as Digital Manufacturing Transformation program lead for CCN based Automation/ control systems for a cluster of plants:
Develop, align and execute site roadmaps for Digital Manufacturing Transformation.
Lead a multifunctional team to design, implement and fully utilize new digital solutions that provides strong benefits for the Cluster.
Execute Project Management responsibilities for the Capital projects as part of the Digital Manufacturing Transformation.
Owns benefit and saving tracking among project progression.
Responsible for cyber security technology at the plant cluster following MINT standards
Ensure site is in compliance with company standards for automation, infrastructure (MINT) and cyber security
Develop and execute site roadmaps for automation, CCN infrastructure including delivery of shared infrastructure (IDC and CCN components)
Issue escalation point for Automation, CCN Automation Infrastructure or cyber security
Development of site and cluster budgets and management of spending for support, maintenance and lifecycle management in line with the standards
Coordinate and ensure business involvement during technology lifecycle to support changes/ upgrades/ replacements
Own the business continuity plan including disaster recovery of CCN systems
Ensure alignment between local BCP and Enterprise recovery procedures, regarding CCN Automation systems
Collaborate with Cluster IBS lead and Plant Champion (Plant Maintenance Automation lead).
Develop capabilities for cybersecurity and automation within the Cluster.
Stakeholder management (focus on optimized user compliance, process performance, and customer satisfaction)
Development and execution of the Process, Control & Information Systems (PC&IS), including the Digitalization roadmap and tools implementation to increase the Digital Maturity Index in the site, considering 1) Computerization, 2) Connectivity, 3) Visibility, 4) Transparency, 5) Predictive capacity, 6) Adaptability.
Escalation to regional Automation Lead of desired exceptions or improvement ideas
Active participation in global/regional automation & systems development and security communications
People Management
Drive cultural change management within the Plant / cluster to embrace Digitalization and Cyber security policy/standards applied to control equipment
Oversight ensuring any internal or 3rd party resources understand and adhere to standards
Manage 3rd Party Providers
More about this role
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor Degree Required: preferably in business administration or Engineering.
ITS systems and Infrastructure (IDC, Network, Windows Operating systems)
Controls & Automation education. Know how in PLC, Scada / HMI programming and maintenance- Preferably Rockwell, Siemens
Job specific requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience working in Automation & Controls in manufacturing environment
Minimum 5 years experience working with a Global organization/s.
Experience in Project Management in manufacturing
IT / IS infrastructure knowledge used in Automation environment
Travel requirements:
Estimated 20% of the time
