Job Description:


Primary Purpose:

Partners and leads the strategic roadmap for system designs, maintenance, reporting, analytics, and project management for the Human Resource Information Systems while providing a high level of customer oriented service. Will manage the entire suite of modules and will be responsible for integration and requirements to maximize the value to UC Health and its employees: (Recruitment, Onboarding, Pre-Boarding, off boarding, HR ERP (single source of truth), Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Employee/Manager Self Service, Payroll Services and Reporting/Analytics). Will serve as a subject matter expert and work with Leadership/Stakeholders across the organization to build, recommend and maintain the roadmap for the strategic initiatives and steady state activities (technology and non-technology), to ensure a planned approach to exceed expectations.

- Directs the HR Information strategy and determines the roadmap of HRIS systems by consulting with executives, HR Leadership, HR staff and other essential employees to ascertain organizational needs and goals. Provide strategic alternatives and advancements with effective project management execution to align with UC Health and HR strategic goals.

- Direct HR Information management budgeting, strategic and tactical planning, business process re-engineering, and database systems strategy. Ensuring business cases started warrant investments for continuous forward movement of HRIS to a future state of technology, business process and system optimization.

- Manage planning and implementation of HRIS system upgrades and changes design specifications for systems. Works with IT Staff along with vendor management to develop, enhance HRIS systems to meet the requirements of the business to provide positive employee, candidate and manager experience.

- Analyze areas by gathering, organizing, and verifying concerns, provide proposed solutions and articulating the business ramifications in both current and future state. Provide direction for business process improvements for streamlined, fully integrated HRIS systems.

- Build, lead, develop and motivate a high performing, multi-cultural team of analysts. Reinforcing the organizations core values and expectations through exemplary leadership, communication and coaching practices. Mentor team for enhancing strong partnership/collaboration with business process owners: benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, performance, payroll, employees, leadership and candidates to align both the needs of the business and end user experience in mind. Provide support for HRIS Manager for day to day operations. Act as an escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team.

- Own the integrity of all HR systems and databases including bi-directional interfaces. Review and assess requests for new interfaces and/or reporting. Evaluates and approves system access roles to software and databases.

- Ensures accuracy and completeness of employees data entered and integrated across all platforms. Oversees the documentation of standard operating procedures and record functions along with business process documents.

- Responsible for all HR governmental reporting including Affirmative Action Plans, DOL, EEO. Responsible for the compliance of benefits under the Affordable Care Act including the creation of 1095C and 1094C reporting.

- Oversees the generation of ad-hoc reporting and dashboards with Human Resources and Payroll data. Ensures reporting and integration does not expose Human Resources data is not compromised or shared inappropriately.

Education:


  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Degree: Master's Degree Business or related field

License & Certification:

  • SPHR certification is a plus

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum Required: 6 - 10 Years related experience

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple departments within UCH delivered with a high level of customer oriented service
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR Technology to include extensive knowledge in multi-systems for all facets of Human Resources
